We went on a rafting excursion two years ago while vacationing in Montana. We stayed in Whitefish, and absolutely had the time of our lives. I love Montana!

Best fly-fishing trip of my life. Monster Rainbows and bownries in the stretch. Some of the most outstanding views ever, i guess that is why they call it Paradise Valley, MT. Jim is the most knowledgeable and fun guide, we come back every year to hear new stories and fish new hot spots.

We eneyojd the short time we got to spend in Glacier National Park a couple of years ago. I'd love to go back sometime when we have enough time and $$$ to spend more than just a few days out that way.Your photos brought back a lot of nice memories. Thanks.

Yeah Missoula! My wife and I pessad through there twice on a road trip last summer- it struck me as a gem. I didn’t pull out the bike during our night spent, but got to skateboard and check out a few bars. It seems so out of character for Montana, yet so appropriate at the same time. Good trip!

I do like Missoula! When I fallniy cut my last ties with the People’s Republic of Northern Idaho and flew the coop to Eugene, I had almost opted to go to Missoula instead. After several visits in town there was a long list of things I loved about it– the rattlesnake wilderness on the edge of town, co-op, proximity to big mountains, great coffee shops, peace center, Indian food, etc. Yet, there was this ever present fact that not only does Missoula have more guns, it’s cultural zone is a very limited area. Travel too far outside this zone and you are still very definitely in Montana. Still, hiking to the M sign and looking over the valley is just about enough to make me forget it.Great posting… thanks for the memories of Missoula.

Thanks for compiling this comprehensive itinerary for us Tia. This is going to be such a spectacular weekend and I'm sure that all of Northwestern Montana is excited about welcoming Lynsey Dyer and Andy Mahre.
