From public to semi-private golf courses, Montana is home to some of the most challenging and undeniably beautiful courses in the United States. With courses ranging from leisurely to difficult, we have everything you could desire.

Golf Courses: The Goods

Courses in the Missoula area typically open before courses in the Flathead Valley. The Flathead Valley has been named a "Top 50 Golf Course Destination" by Golf Digest. To play as many rounds as possible, pre-schedule tee times (for a small fee) through the Northwest Montana Golf Association.

Our typical golf season in Montana lasts from early May through mid-October. These dates depend on weather and snowfall from the winter. Weather in Montana can take sudden turns from wonderful to poor and back again in the time it takes to play 18 holes, so always come prepared!
