Where is Glacier Country?
Glacier Country is located in the western third of Montana. For reference, the area’s largest city, Missoula, is approximately 535 miles east of Seattle, Washington; 900 miles north of Denver, Colorado; and 1,100 miles west of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The recreational centers for the Flathead Valley in Kalispell and Whitefish are about 260 miles south of Calgary, Alberta.  The region is on the west edge of the Mountain Time Zone. Other population centers include Cut Bank, Hamilton, Libby, Polson, Ronan, and Thompson Falls.
