This little community is a few miles north of Missoula on Evaro Hill at the southern end of the Flathead Indian Reservation. Just past Evaro Hill on U.S. Highway 93, stop by the Evaro Bar & Casino, for their half-pound local beef “Bertha Burger” or the Buck Snort (open seasonally) for prime rib, great pizza and local beer. Farther along you'll come to the tribally-owned Gray Wolf Peak Casino and drive under the "animals’ bridge," a grass-covered wildlife overpass built to give animals a safe path to cross.
